Last [Friday] I spent a lovely afternoon with Yuri & Tae photographing their engagement session. They are such a lovely couple, and were game for all my fun ideas! I am so excited to shoot their wedding next month, and to design their engagement album. Summer is almost here, finally!!
{They are getting married on the 21st!}

{I found some awesome textures yesterday, here’s my hand at a little [Jesh]}

{Thanks Kate for all your help!}

The last shot is beautiful, she’s gorgeous!

Thanks! I was teaching her how to do a “model pose”. She’s such a beauty! I can’t wait till their wedding!!
What an awesome couple. I really like the last image and the second one. Keep knocking out these classic photographs Michelle :)

Hi Michelle! I am an avid fan of yours! Your work is always stunning! These shots are beautiful! I have a question…did you use a tilt-shift lens on some of these or is it your processing in Photoshop? I love the shallow depth of field in many of them. Love your stuff! You are a constant inspiration!

<<Khrista,
Thanks for the lovely comments! I used a 45mm tilt shift on all these images (except the last image of her which was shot with an 85mm 1.2).
I am a big advocate of creating depth of field in camera, rather than in post processing. Shallow DOF has always been one of my biggest stylistic traits :)
great job! I love the image of them holding hands with the bird in the center. My only wish is that some of the shots were without the tilt-shift lenese. Sometimes it is too much for me…but maybe that is just me.
